Comments:

Had to work late, got stuck in traffic 4 miles away, abandoned my ride and trekked in on foot; unfortunately missed the entire first set; unbelievably found my friends on the lawn as darkness dawned. Thanks to fellow deadheads stuck in traffic who provided Help on the Way (in the form of cheers, hugs, flowers and other unmentionables)over the last few miles. Would love to trade this - have a great 1994 Acoustic Set on CD if anyone's interested, among other things

Third to last big RxR blues. I remember being incredibly stoked hearing this song. It was not played much after 87.
Speedway boogie confirmed -"tonight is special."
Not called star lake anymore, but This venue is still hallowed ground.

I remember all during setbreak saying I thought they were going to open the 2nd set with Truckin'.

My tour buddy thought I was crazy as they never opened the set with Truckin.

I was at this show and my friend insist jerry says “bitch” after the line “if you plant ice your gonna harvest wind” . Anyone else hear it.??
- (07/18/2021)

per GrandMasterG's buddy's observation, I went back amd listened and, sure as shit, he DOES say "bitch" after "wind"
- (12/17/2021)

No, that's not what Garcia says. It's not only unlikely that he would have done so, it's completely out of character. Listen carefully. After "...you gonna harvest wind" he sings "Bet you will", enunciated "Betcha will".

thanks to theothr1 for your comment and thanks to obeah for your thoughts. i would never speak ill of the man but curious as to what you base your comment that it would be "completely out of character"? i think of the use in the context of relationships and karma - if you give ice your gonna get wind. been on the bus since 1985 and still love the guy, but we all know, relationships were not his strong suit. again, just curious, certainly not here to pick a fight.
