First show. I believe Satisfaction is fairly uncommon.

this is a great show all the way through. despite looking and being somewhat short, the first set is tight. jerry's 2 choices were excellent: peggy-o, althea. bobs l.r. rooster was screetching and phil gave a solid Tom Thumb Blues

second set predrums is very well played even though lame on paper. the post drums dark star jam is just incredible. i was there and it was VERY hard to tell if jerry was singing or playing the lyrics...:)

satisfaction encore was a great way to end a very solid show

two thumbs up

decent show. charlotte sucks! they're racist against pot smokers! I'm shocked that charlotte allowed the dead in their town. I just remember lots of yuppies. what's the matter jerry, decided not to give us the dark star?

interesting how different people look at setlists SOOO differently.

"on paper" the predrums second set looks fantastic IMO. "women smarter" is always a treat, and moreso as an opener. "eyes" jams crazy and "LLR" takes it down as good as any bob tune. then "he's gone" into drums. who could complain about that?

I was at this show but it was so long ago it's hard to remember the songs. My brother and I, coming from Colorado were looking for weed before the show. Everybody was paranoid in the parking lot, people got busted the day before. We finally found a dude to sell us a bag but he thought we were cops. We got high and had a good time. The Dead in N.C. was a weird scene.

First tour with Vince. I was there, amazing show with Satisfaction to close. It had been many many years. A new leaf was turned. It was a great tour I saw 11 shows in a row this summer the night before the first of the run..

I had good seats on the floor about 20 rows back and went nuts when they went into Dark Star, my first and only. I remember when it came to time to sing the verse Jerry stepped up to the mic and leaned in and instead of singing he played the verse melody on his guitar. Face melting. Would have loved to hear the words, but I will take it.
