DARK STAR

Without question one of the best this tour. 2nd set tapes are incredible.

Canadian head looking for HQ copy of this show.....set 2 opened with Jerry tuning to Help, and Bobby tuning to Estimated....Phil tuning Shakedown....then out of nowhere, drums/lights...SHAKEDOWN!!!
-

An OUTSTANDING show...the jam in the middle of Shakedown goes on and on. I think it was at this show that a police officer outside the Copps gave me $2 for a sausage...you don't see that anywhere else.

BTW, the second (and first?) set is avail for download at http://www.deadshow.com

...and, it took 14 hours to drive from Hamilton back to New Paltz in a driving blizzard...the NYS Thruway un-plowed and full of ice...an absolutely horrible, white-knuckled drive.

A great way to enjoy your birthday.. and in the 16th row no less thanks to GDTS! How many could say "all I want for my birthday is a Dark Star" and actually get it? Had a great time with 3 friends from Syracuse University ( a six hour road trip from campus). The senses enlighten again with the memory of this show.

This was my first show ever and it was f$%^$%^ awesome. I am looking for a copy of the show if you can help me please do. Peace

Me and bunch of TEP frat bros from Syracuse University drove up for the 2 shows. Second night was not even close to as good as this first night. Before Hell in a Bucket, Hornsby was trying to get the band to launch into Low Spark of High Heeled Boys, but to no avail. This show was one of the best post Brent.

I was at both of these shows.
My only Dark star of the 25 I saw. After the show, I remember a police officer put a red lighted skull on top of the dash of his car. Lots of cops around, but seemed to be very cool.

My very first show. Hard to believe I caught a show this good on my first try. Shakedown was explosive. Darkstar blew my mind. First set was excellent.
