the althea is absolutely fantastic! the whole show had a lot of energy, though not as much as the halloween show. check out the dark star of halloween! holly crap! that is one of the most intense jams of the 80's and 90's combined.

This show was amazing. A few friends and I were chilling in the parking lot when we were approached by a rather intimidating state trooper - who asked "Are you guys going in to the show?". When we answered with a rather obvious, "no", he proceeded to peel off three miracle tickets and handed them to us. The price read "$0.00" with a stamp proclaiming "Cheers Bill!".

Unbelievable. A miracle ticket from a cop! This, in the wake of the horrible fires, was a real bright spot in a truly strange trip. We entered the coliseum just as the second set was starting - it was one hell of a jam.

Rainy Thursday Nite show. First of 4 shows culminating in Halloween. Bill Graham was killed on Tuesday Nite and everybody was reeling, yet the show must go on! RARE show with Carlos, and Gary Duncan. Hey BD/Mona was incredible.
Truly one of the most powerful, sweet shows.

My second show and still my favorite out of the 50odd shows I got to see. Super-tight all the way through.

This was my 21st of 82 shows. I remember it was a dark and stormy night. I forgot my shoes at home, and got turned away at the door. Went back to Peggy (my VW van) and fashioned strips of fabric into laces from invisible sandals. Managed to get in to experience an incredible show!
