Comments:

Bit rough on the upswing, but by the time they hit bird song, all the kinks were gone. Standard First show jitters after a long break. But as with every other show that started a run, they got back on track real fast. The china/rider -> Playin'/Terrapin was fantastic and the Stella was sweet. Worth a listen if you like a more mellow vibe. The bird song is especially laid back.

Diving into this August 1991 run

Initial thoughts--The first set is pretty rough through Big River. I think it's more sound issues/technical difficultues than the playing.

Crowd starts chanting "We Want Phil" and Jerry happily replies "What are you going to do if we guve him to you?" Hilarious

Promised Land Must have been heard on Mars-LOUD

Second set off to a rockin start--band is cookin through China Cat>Rider. Beautiful transition from Playin>Terrapin
