My 2nd favorite show I saw personally (3/1/92 Omni is 1st!). The Shakedown that opens really smokes. Although I think something was wrong with Bob's guitar at the begining, once it's fixed the jamming commences. The 1st set topper is the Deal. One of the best I've heard. The 2nd set highlights are a nice Iko, the Terrapin/Stir It Up Jam, The Other One (with that weird synthesized vocal stuff Bob did for a while with the lyrics), Bruce Hornsby's fills during Wharf Rat, and a high energy Throwin>Not Fade. I have to mention that I've never seen a light show as intense as the one that Candace put on during this Other One. The entire Omni seemed to be spinning for a while. I wouldn't be surprised if some people had to sit down. It was wonderful... If you can find this show, get it.

My 1st show!
Folks that night told me the previous night should have been my first show, as it was rockin'.
I saw a couple of them afterwards, and they'd changed their minds.
I had to ask my friend the name of almost every song.
The Terrapin>Stir It Up Jam really got me hooked on the Dead.
And all I had was a beer before the show (no other drugs).
Yeah, good one.
Peace, y'all!

Deal-A great version indeed. Bruce coming into play and Jerry working off him to perfection. Vince also not too shabby but the way Jerry's solos wrap around all the sound is one for the ages.

my third show with my second being the night before. was confused with all the cowboy songs in the first set but remember loving every minute of it. second set melted my face.
