1st set was average. Scarlet>Fire>Stir It Up made the show, no doubt! GDTRFB always a welcome song out of space. Box of Rain encore was nothing special.

18 minute Bird Song. Seriously, what more do you want from them?

GREAT 6-pack 1st Set!!!! Every song is unbelievable. 2nd Set is okay entertainment, but not the quality of the 1st set. Stir It Up jam continues so long that I thought Jerry was going to sing the tune, but that never materialized. Instead the song lingers, never transitions into another song; big tease with no resolution — like a lot of my dates. Drums/Space are okay, but a short 3 songs. I guess the band wanted to move on from the Cap Center.

I saw all 4 1991 Cap Center shows. The first night was the best of them. 3 of the 8 sets of music were 6-pack sets. Second and fourth nights had some lackluster moments. Third night was energetic enough and great song selection, but not smooth and at times wandering. For these reasons and others, if the GD Cap Center 1990 run = 9 or 10, then I would give the 1991 Cap Center run = ~ 6 or so.

Good run of GD shows and other than asshole security, enjoyable time. Thanks for anyone reading this.
