Out of all the '91 shows in my regular rotation (03-31, 04-01, 05-05, 06-14, 06-17, 09-10, 10-31), I keep returning to this one more than the others. I'd safely call it a top 5 show for 1991.

Whenever they had runs in Oakland early in the year, they tended to play looser, experimenting more, and pushing themselves a bit further. This show is a perfect example of that.

Highlights, minor lyric flubs aside:
