Wow, what a night and show! second set non-stop Jam and who would of ever thought I would be raving about a 'Rockin Accordian" but Bruce just blew Big Mac out on Mexacali and Iko Iko
Thanks JER!

nothing can compare to red rocks, but this one is a gem of a show. the mile high city (did and still does with ratdog and P&F) brings out the best in the boys. dead rocks!!

1st verse of Dark Star going into drums. 2nd verse played two nights latter coming out of space (with a little ditty called Terrapin in between). This is the ONLY time they split Dark Star between nights of a run.

The interplay between Bruce and Jerry the entire night was/is very cool.

the two verses of dark star were also split this way during the december 92 run in oakland

proving people wrong is fun

Slick Provost showed up and dominated with his inside game. However, he picked up 4 fouls in the first set and played weakly in the 2nd set. A pattern that still haunts him to this day.

N Romanov , overcame altitude sickness and 5 pre game marguerites, 2 grams of shrooms and put in another MVP performance

Better luck next time Slick

I can distinctly remember shakin my bones to the touch of grey opener. My seat neighbors were a family with an early teen. Im not sure if they knew what was about to happen. I think i moved to the floor by greatest story. The i know you rider was epic. Listen to an audience tape- "cool colorado rain" brought the house down. The boards dont do this show justice. It was one of my best rider moments in my memory banks. Thanks boys.
