Comments:

Nearly a 2 hour marathon 2nd set...on a good audience recording, you can hear all 20,000 people screaming the "wish I was a headlight" verse...very wonderful indeed.

This was the 3rd time I eeked out tickets for all the Garden shows (87, 88, 90--89 was in the swamp)...I taped all these shows and have recently been updating to better soundboards/audiences in shorten format. Had a sbd of set 2 for a while--just got set 1 a few hours ago--what a show!! Hornsby and Jerry are on fire!! Dark Star is just about the sickest ever since they brought it back in the 90's.

while the 19th was better all-around, this show was the spiritual culmination of a great 6 night run, i felt bad for my friend lar, this was his only show, after the front part of set 2 i said, sorry no Dark Star for you.....who could possibly figure????

the entire second set is featured on road trips v2, and oh what a set it is! I wish they woud just release the entire shows, but it flows the way they cut it starting with the first half of this set then moving into the night before (with the playin that they reprise this night)> the dark star half of this set. I highly recomend it! buy it or do what you got to do to get it(no judgements!)

I used to go to the Garden runs every year; was this the show where Bobby's mike cut out during "Throwing Stones"? I remember that well, as the whole audience kept singing after Bobby went mute and he looked at us and threw his hands up as if to say "Go ahead; you sing it now!".

This show was the perfect way for me to celebrate my 21st birthday.
