I have this DVD and don't particularly like this show all too much--the Esau filler from '87 is the highlight, for me...

When I heard We Can Run I almost cried becuase when I looked up the lyrics for the first time I realized how true they are today. I almost hear a bit of Bob Sieger in Jerry's voice this night. Truly now my favorite song. Jerry we love you.

are you sure you dont mean brent sounded a little like bob segar? We Can Run is a Brent tune which only he sings on

Anyone have a link to a working DVD torrent file of the View From The Vault III? I can't find a good one for the life of me. Thanks!

Wildest second set I've heard in a long time. Since I didn't check the set list before listening to this one, the Truckin' really took me by surprise, I knew they were up to something. The ending Cassidy -> BBM -> OMSN was really well played, with one or two hiccups, but not obvious. Then the second set just melt your mind. Wasn't expecting the 20 minute jam out of terrapin. And the reversed drums/space scenario was a nice change up. China Doll had a little trip up at the start but settles into a wonderful version. And sugar magnolia obviously rocked. A phenomenal show to say the least. And if it had to be one of Brent's last then it's fitting it would be a monster ride.
