Comments:

last fast-paced eyes of the world. they gave up the rather rushed sounding late 70's through the 80's eyes for the groove. that major 7th has to reverberate. in the more relaxed versions to come, it does just that! the early 90's eyes were almost as beautiful as the those of 73-75. :)

good god this show is sweet. Brent goes OFFFFF on "it's all over now." get this one off nugs.net. it's all around good stuff.

I
We Can Run-18th/22nd time played
Picasoo Moon-7th/77th time played
Deal-long Jerry solo

II
Box of Rain-slower version than most
China Doll-mainly instrumental
Gimmie Some Lovin-nice Phil vocals
GDTRFB-just when you think Jerry took the rest of the night of sining, he comes back in full force..

E: Brokedown-the older Jerry got, the better this song sounded i felt, even with the comma right around the corner.

Best Picasso Moon? Isn't that an oxymoron?

The boy's were "slipping and sliding"(-Mickey) this night. These shows were not on the official tour list and only the lucky got in. China Doll is a true masterpiece as is the Foolish Heart. We completely took over Hartford these two nights..Simply awesome. I miss the good old days!

no your just a regular moron, and yea its a sick version an there is a great hell in a bucket on here too
-Anonymous (01/07/2009)

No such thing as a good Picasso Moon...unless it wasn't played at all...now that would be good.

This was the last show played in Connecticut with Jerry still in the band. This spring, on 4/26/09 they'll play the the Hartford Civic Center for the first time since 3/19/90, which by the way is also a pretty sick show.

See my comments from the first (previous) night. Another outstanding GD show. I can now mention that the spring 1990 boxset is GREAT!!! Wow this GD tour was hot! Not a clunker the entire show! I thought everyone loved Picasso Moon; I learned something new (yuck, yuck).

Second set is something else. Now that I have a definitive copy of this show, I need to obtain a high quality version of the prior evening.
