This was the Mardi Gras show. During the entire Iko>>Women are Smarter, with Michael Doucet and Beausoleil, the parade is going on. Crazy, crazy, crazy...This was the year with the huge, 30-foot tall dancing skeleton. There were at least a dozen people pulling on guy-wires connected to the ceiling and then the puppet to make it dance. And could it dance! Toward the end of Women they slowly let the puppet down until only one arm pointed toward the heavens as they hit the last note and then it sank in a heap to our delirium. rest of the show was edgy and kicked some serious ass.
