Comments:

This was the only show I ever remember with re-entry allowed after a refereshing parking lot break at halftime. No hand stamps were allowed the other two nights.

My first show! I was a senior in high school, and it felt like I finally came home.
Just listened to the show for the first time in 26 years. The Other One is fricken insane! I imagine it freaked a few folks out. :}
I always enjoyed the emotion of Looks Like Rain, and Bobby really goes there with this one. I love the part where he sings, "Rain, rain go away; go fuck with someone else today." Classic!
Very beautiful He's Gone. Brings tears to the eyes. After Jerry died, I couldn't listen to live Dead for about 5 years without losing it. As with many heads, Dead shows were a big part of my life, and I miss those special times to this day. Very grateful to have been part of it though. Much love for all.

Before going in, I witnessed Inglewood police grab a kid, put him in a choke hold until he passed out, then let him fall to the pavement. This was a precursor to Patrick Shanahan's death at the hands of Inglewood PD 2 days later. Allegedly an Inglewood officer said "He's dead as a door nail" when Shanahan was loaded into a police cruiser.
