I was there it was the "earthquake relief show"

As I recall Bobby fell as he rounded Mickey's corner of the drum riser coming out for The Wheel, kinda fell to one knee protecting the guitar with the right and breaking his fall with his left.

Hey Murphy, stop commenting on shows and insulting people. You obviously were not there man.

This show was beautiful. The first set just rolls through tunes with ease. The shakedown had a really interesting distortion point towards the end that just obliterates reality before the final verse pears through the fog. The walkin' blues that emerges from the final chords was pretty bouncy and lets bobby have a little fun with his vocal exploration. Friend of the Devil lets you take a break and enjoy some of jerry's soul before the first set takes off to the end. Queen Jane, Jack-a-Roe and JALL all have pretty good vibes to them and victim seems to be coming into it's own, since this tune had a very rough start when it was debuted, but so did quite a few others. just had to work the kinks out. And the Don't ease Me In ends set one with a bang.

The Scarlet to open set two has a lot of midi experimentation with the trumpet sounds and even a bassoon-esque sound. Then, just when it sounds like it's gonna ease you into Fire, Sugarmag explodes out of the jam and rocks the house. Right before the usual point where everyone jams out, it just stops and goes immediately into A beautiful Ship of Fools. The Terrapin has a few rough spots but overall is a fine performance. The Wheel coming out of space is standard practice but still has a bit of a more upbeat aura then usual to it that seemed to be the trend for tunes in this show. Watchtower has been on fire late in '89 and this version is no different. Then, the set chills for an emotional and quite elegant SOTM, and jerry puts all he has into it. They immediately fizzle it out when they feel the time is right to finish off the surprise Sugarmag from the beginning. The Black Muddy River send you home with a nice lulaby goodnight. This Benefit show is certainly one they put their asses in gear for.

Oh, and Dude, if you had a sack to speak of, you would have argued any point i made with facts on the show i made the comment on. Not preemptively commenting on a show i hadn't gotten to yet. I'm doing a personal analysis of a band i love. If you don't agree with something i say or you think i'm being a condescending ass, then give me a reason why i'm wrong and i'll gladly listen. I've told people who made valid points on previous discussion they were right and even apologized for coming off so strong. The only truth you have is that i wasn't there, and that doesn't mean much since i've stated that frequently throughout my comments. I call people out when they're being unreasonable, not for the hell of it. So don't try and convince people that every comment i make is just nonsensical insults.
