this was a great show. the bertha started off on fire, and to this day this is one of my fav. 1st sets of all. it was truelly a great first show for deer creek which went on to become the shoreline of the midwest until 1995. the second set was great also, the jam after truckin is smokin, and the space has a close encounters tease, into a spooky china doll, better than the one at alpine a few nights later.

an awesome show!! Highlights are an epic Birdsong and a superb Truckin'>Smokestack>Jam stretch after they murdered Crazy Fingers. The Sugar Mag is also scorching hot.

This was a smokin' show....all around amazing with no let-down whatsoever....this was a cool venue that just opened out in the middle of a bunch of corn fields. We were lucky to get in on the first one....sad to hear about those idiots and the events in 1995.

Brilliant Show!! Am i the only one who heard the Close Encounters during space?

I saw 67 shows in my regrettably short time that I followed the GD....found them through friends when I was in college.... This show was my virgin show and as my friends and I walked to the car, one of my friends, who has over 1000 shows at the time, said I was the luckiest MF on the planet...And I still consider it in my top 2 or 3....

This show serves as a nice prelude to the Alpine Valley Run. Highlights include Bird Song and the Truckin' > Smokestack Lightning. 2 Jerry ballads after drums is a nice treat as well even though the flow feels strange because of this.

I was a wee lad 2 weeks before my 21sr birthday at this show. Looking back now I don't think I fully appreciated the rare treat of TWO Jerry ballads after space. Sounds oxymoronic, but nothing makes me happier than having my soul crushed into tiny little pieces by slow, soulful Jerry. And a Brokedown to boot. I'm weeping just thinking about it.

Considering the current landscape of the environment and politics, We Can Run and Throwing Stones sure were prescient.
