yup, if theres a flaw in this show it was me clapping out of rhythm.

the jack straw was particularly hot and didnt hear a better/equal one until cap center '90

bird song was magic.

Great second set and the jam after Miracle is sweet

Stellar time!

Bird Song and Jack Straw are incredible performances. Space -> UJB -> Miracle is a great post-Drums sequence, with an unexpected sweet jam in Miracle. Fun gig, enjoy and pass along to a friend.

On archives it says this show is from 12/28/98 lol. Jerry sounds pretty damn good considering he would’ve been dead for 3 years if that date was correct

My first CA show and one for the ages! Tagged along w/ some beautiful folks from MA , spun on the back of the floor, tuned in w/ some incredible flowers from santa cruz, the band was simply on fire! Closing first set w/ a barnstorming jack straw. I have a photo of Jerry during the “wish i was a headlight “ verse of i know you rider and his arm is as extended upward more than i have ever seen. The estimated is absolutely bonkers. UJB out of space implies that the band is fully cooking! Such an amazing experience and one that would be a tradition for me (December Coliseum shows) until the final NYE in 91’.
