It was cool to see Jerry in a blazer, too bad this show was in NY, never got pushed and crowded out so much in my life at a show! Some breathing room, please!

Great show ..I have a tape of it somewhere ..I saw a girl get taken away on a stretcher from laughing to hard ..seriously!
-John in NH

Only Green Onions. Older brothers friend told me he and many others jumped over a fence to get in.

On the way to the show, I predicted (guessed and hoped) they'd open with Box of Rain-- hah! I called it, as my buddies said. I remember them taking out somebody on a stretcher as we walked in and Bob said "somebody had just tooo much fun". Remember at one point we seemed to be 'higher' than others, turned out we were standing on the pitcher's mound. Great night. (with Bob, Cliff and Jeff)

One of my top 5 shows. Check out 7/2/87 also. Amazing. I dunno what it is about Rochester??? 2nd Believe It or Not. Yeh, the Green Onions to start the 2nd set...very cool. There was also a false start Deal after Far From Me. All around great show. I remember being plenty of space to move around. Love Rochester.

Yes yes on Green Onions. Also one of the few Believe it or not's. I spent about half of the second set watching someone climb a light tower and swing from one leg. Damn acid. Security dudes finally got the guy down after climbing the tower themselves and he tried to book it over the fence to get away. They caught him and pretty much rearranged his face.

smokin show!!! I remeber it being cold for June and Box of Rain and C,R,S to open the show I thought this show was going to be great and the cold temps didn't seem to bother me anymore. I downloaded this from Archives.org, great site for downloading shows if you are looking for any them.

... growing up in the Rockin Chester, I was able to see 12 of the 15 Rochester NY shows 1976 to 1988. We also traveled thru New England, NYC, Philly, Baltimore & DC The deadhead crew we had back in the day wondered off to 198 shows from 1981-1995 and would never never never trade a day in the world for what we experienced....... those were the good ole IKO IKO days. Sure do miss Jerry & Brent ...

IKO IKO on & on .......
