Comments:

Very nice second set...great "Shakedown" and some intense indoor thunder at the end of "Looks Like Rain." Also, the band goes back to finish "Uncle John's Band" before the drums. Jerry does some powerful singing on "Morning Dew" and "Black Muddy River."

This was my first Dead Show, my second time around. I'd be ever so Grateful for a copy of it.

go check out the morning dew lovelight now!
-for sure

First show I took my wife to; "LLR" is best-EVER! Being there was a spiritual experience. Second set opening "Shakedown" was special. Also, best "Hey Pocky" I ever saw in person.

Good night throughout. Big RR Blues....rare treat for this fading tune. 1st one in 26 shows, and only 1 of 4 in '88. Shakedown was fun, as was the backe end of the 2nd set.

One of these Meadowlands shows from the 87-89 'ish era was simulcast on WNEW in NY. Does anyone know which one it was? Just curious. Brendan Byrne arena - I still remember crossing that foot bridge over the highway going over to the Giant's Stadium parking lot. A miracle it never collapsed with all the deadheads in it.
