Comments:

Surprised no one has commented on this show. It's not a really explosive one or even worthy of legendary status. But the Morning Dew will send chils down your spine. Check the second set out for that alone. Miracle and Lovin' were pretty raging too.

The coliseum slowly started revolving at the start of Althea, by mid song we were gaining altitude and momentum. "You know this space is getting hot!" Liftoff! i was last row phil sidestage and felt the g's more. plenty of cruising time with out maps during cassidy and had a bit of a handle on it through West LA. We were turning pro as let it grow seemed to perpetuate the thing as more and more people were realizing that we were were steering it collectively. We agreed to set back down for a few and marvel at the impossibility of what just went down. Something in those 4 songs together let it happen. Magic? I don't think it was the first time. Ship of fools and He's Gone played nice that close to one another and led way for a great Morning Dew later on. Great one. The encore was a grand hallway with all of the scenery from the night displayed in fading glimpses as we recoiled and recalled where we were at. Besides a show that is in the present tense, this is my favorite. Check it out. This space is getting hot.

... the 12/30/1987 was the 10th of 66 shows the boys played at the Oakland Coliseum Arena ... The best ride to get to the Coliseum was the BART to the parking lot parking & then into the show and back to the BART.
Once in a while, you get shown the light
In the strangest of places if you look at it right & the Coliseum was that place ....

iko iko till the end of time ..........
