My very first show, and I came in late, about halfway through Walkin Blues. It took me awhile to relax and really hear the music, but when I did, it was fantastical.
The next show, the very next day, was even better, and a much better story...

The Roanoke shows were the best of the summer tour... and the only small venue of like 5,000 seats. The thing I remember the most about this show was West L.A. Fadeaway... there was this really cool cymbal sound that I suspect a Mickey was making. It’s with me to this day... over 30 years later....
