I thought this show was the best of the 3 this run. The band was tight and rockin, and the 1st set song slection was great. Plus i remember tripping my brains out

My first show!, my buddy tom and I got in free because we were working as-- well lets just say we were the rock n roll equivelant of bill murray in caddyshack. So anyhoo, we have off for the show because the dead only allows union help for their shows--great for us!! My buddy and me are trippin balls for like the first time, and we go to the top of the hill where we sat down but couldnt see the band because of all the people dancin--dint mind we were just soakin up all the (to What at the time were) freaks. I rember we walked in i think durring black muddy river. Durring truckin jerry was yellin, "space trippin111 whew space trippin!!!! During turn on your love light people got on top of the beer sheds and were dancin---security did nothin but smile. That was the weirdest and best day of my life. The bus came by and i had got on!!!!!!!

Great Alpine show! My twin brother and I were able to convince our father to come with us. I remember some really funny stuff happening during the very end of space as they go into truckin. Listen to the tape, and you can hear it.

Awesome show..me and a bro got miracle'd that day along with free hugs. Dosed our asses off, great show, stumbled around all night long and got kicked off the golf course..."you want me to move my car? where the hell am I going to find a parking place at this time of the day?...FUCKERS

I'm fairly certain this show was 1986, not 87 as the setlist prog has it here. They played the night before in Minneapolis, MN at the Metrodome (opened !! for Bob Dylan), and we drove across country to watch 'em play the headline at AV with Dylan (!!) opening for them there. Don't recall a lot of the show, as I got handed a fistfull o' gels and was pretty gone, but it's nice to have the recording.
