Comments:

This show was awesome, but I remember it as Not Fade Away being the encore and Brokedown Palace being an unprecedented second encore. It was so cool, everyone clapping to Not Fade Away for 20 minutes, the roadies finally coming on stage to take down the drums, and then they started putting them back together. Unprecedented.

Not to say you're wrong but were you at 5/10/87? Just looked at the setlist from that show a week before yours and has an unusual NFA encore followed by Black muddy River

I got to agree with Dave. I wasn't at either show, but I just listened to this show on GDRadio. I am not sure of the source, but there is no edit in the tape. The clapping at the end of NFA was only a few minutes before the band came back on stage to finish up NFA and play Brokedown. As I recall from other shows that I did attend, this length of break between NFA and the encore was pretty standard for the late 80's.
