Comments:

Not surprised noone has commented on this show. Not the best show in a year of dank sets. First set highlights are Stagger Lee, BRXR Blues and LLR. The rest of the set was just standard quality for this year.

Second set had some high moments, and other moments that were, shall i say, shot. First, China Cat -> Rider was standard, but the samson wasn't. To start, bobby cut jerry off at the intro and started the first verse, and then jerry just never gets that vibe just right, and you can hear it in his noodling. The He's Gone had some beautiful jams in it, but it seems like towards the end the band went in one direction and Bob Wierd just completely ignored them and started singing Spoonful. lucky the boys were such professionals, cause they all just got on the spoonful bus, only a few seconds of confusion to speak of. The post drums was pretty standard as was the baby blue. Not many AHA moments here. This show would be good to throw on if you have to write a paper or study for a test. Good background and you don't have to pay attention too hard so you can focus on other shit.

The boys popped a serious load on the Fall tour, and these two nights feel like they were squeezin out the last few drops they had left.

Hey Murph... I was at this show (I promise not to haunt with that every time you comment ;-)... and after Spoonful, Jerry just walked off stage for Never Trust a Woman.
We were trashed from the night before ( a far better show, and during the day on Sunday, we went and saw Peter Popov, a faith healer, who was next door at the Civic Center... Wierder than Bob at Spoonful)

Overall... rather forgettable.

.... and, as I was reminded by a comment on the archive, Garcia spent all of Spoonful with his amp.
