Great 2 shows. Minuteman and Blues for Allah banners were unfurled each night Cumberland-Beat It-Deal. What a hoedown
-2 Hurt

very nice first set and nice start to the second set (nice 2nd set LIG). For me, drums were the highlight of the show. The banter between the crowd and Mick and Bill, along with the crowd clapping in 2 beats with the drummers, just crazy. Check it out, you will love it.

Really great fall tour! Love both Rochester shows. Interesting setlists & some interplay at times. Dancin, Cumberland, High Time, Let It Grow, Midnight Hour encore! And the hits just keep on coming. Band pretty interactive with audience both nights. I was blessed to have been at both these upstate NY shows.

... growing up in the Rockin Chester, I was able to see 12 of the 15 Rochester NY shows 1976 to 1988. We also traveled thru New England, NYC, Philly, Baltimore & DC The deadhead crew we had back in the day wondered off to 198 shows from 1981-1995 and would never never never trade a day in the world for what we experienced....... those were the good ole IKO IKO days. Sure do miss Jerry & Brent ...

IKO IKO on & on .......

This was a fantastic tour and these two shows among the highlights. '85 was one of my favorite years touring. People who weren't there will never get it fully. Central and Western NY had smoking shows in the late '70's up through '85. Syracuse, Rochester, Bingo, Utica.

As always listen to music! Not beats and rhymes.

The Dead owned upstate during that time period for sure. My older bros came back with those late fall 77 tapes and I was hooked. Mama tried through Deal ? The Dead should have handed out seat belts to the crowd. 2nd set Let It Grow, much like a late 1st set Jack Straw, takes on a life of it's own. I'll take these 2 over Richmond, and you can take that to the bank!

As Zacherley once (and only) said.....The Grateful Goddamn Dead !
