Comments:

'85 was the year Bird, Walton and the Celtics won the championship. This show was on an off night for the Celts and Walton brought Bird and McHale out to the show. If I remember correctly, it was Bird's Bday around that time.

Note the song selection. Kansas City, Supplication, Playin' Reprise (to match up with the night before) an early Tom Thumbs.

Waltons B-day show. Happy Birthday Bill opens 2nd set. Crazy crowd. One girl came on stage during Women gave Bob a hug/kiss. Then one during Brokedown, put a scarf around Jerry. Garcia did'nt flinch. Also Kansas City was for the Royals who just won the world series. Nice twist
-Mack

Celtics did not win the championship in '85...they won with Walton in '86...and it was Bill Waltons birthday...just FYI

what a show for a naive 16 year olds first dead experience. Great sbd @ int archive, although it only streams now

I remember seeing Walton, Bird and McHale in the front row and feeling bad for the folks who camped out all night for SECOND row seats behind three 7-foot tall Celtics.

Memorable night of a great fall tour -- Columbia, 2 Richmonds, then Worcester. Spring and summer of 85 rocked, too!

I saw 204 shows. I got shut out of two others...this one (after I bagged two tickets for friends) and 10/12/84....yea that's right 10/12/84...bummer huh?
-Bossgobbler (02/09/2010)

Bossgobbler is a tool box
-80s head (12/11/2013)

Fat China Cat rift in Man Smart. This show is a great way for the boys to bid Worcester farewell. The Shakedown may have been a bit shakey at the start (Pun intended) it turned into a funkin jam fest with jerry and brent really gettin into a groove that will have you dancin' all the way home.

And is the girl wraping a scarf around jerry why the crowd went nuts durning the beginning of Brokedown?
-Murphy (01/13/2014)

204 shows? Shut out of only 2? Calling bullshit dude........
-Anonymous (08/18/2014)

Tickets were easy when I started going Touch Heads, when I was older I had connections...

-Bossgobbler (10/07/2014)

80's Head, dude who thinks the Warlocks shows most over rated ever...that's street cred bro...

-Bossgobbler (10/07/2014)

Hey boss gobbler agree with 80s head. Your comments are all over these reviews and you are always a total dick to everyone. So fuck off eh?
-Anonymous (11/05/2014)

Not to pile on here but I gotta call bullshit on bossgobbler as well. I toured a lot in 80 - 83 and I would not call tickets "easy". Most shows were sold out and, well, they still cost money!

I lost my mind at this show, if anyone has found it, please turn it into lost and found. I will gladly repay you with a hamburger next tuesday

- (11/24/2015)

Bossgobbler is fine, he - like many others - just has no patience for the many idiots on these boards that have no clue about the Dead or never even saw them live.
