Truckin is a bit rough, but the stella has a sad tone in it, probably from jerry bein in the depths of heroine, but as bad as it might have ended up, at the time, it added a soul to jerry's balads that was otherwise absent in previous years. More so with Black Peter, but this is a fine fine Stella. the Brokedown has this vibe to it, even though it had a false start. Subtle though.

This a pretty good show, and R.I.P. to the family of Steven Parish, one of the crazy crew members that were so loyal to the boys. apperntly, right around the time of these shows, his wife and child(possibly) were killed in a carwreck. Very sad event, but it's not like these guys werren't used to random deaths by this point. a sad end to a great year.

Special shout-out to Playin'. They pulled out an 18 minute exploratory, non-stop beast out of their hats for this old school second set. One of the best of '80s to my ears. Enjoy and pass along to a friend.
