If anyone kind soul has this on tape or CD, I would love it because it was my first show. (and the my first trip w/ the dead) -Peace and Happiness to all who read this! -BC

My 1st show as well. "Bertha" in the rain storm. Jerry had bronchitis and Bret had to bail him out on "China Doll". Still brings a tear to my eye.

I drove all night from Harrisburg while my friends slept to get to this show. Tried to sleep once we got there, but the party started early and I didn't get much. The show was wet. Drenching soaking wet. I could tell it was a better show than the previous night (which sucked, but the weather was perfect) but it was much too hard to enjoy it. I started to head back to the car near the end of the second set. I unwittingly stumbed upon some girl on the ground who I'm guessing was trying to change into dry clothes. She looked up and snarled at me to get out of there. I got to the parking lot and could hear the din of Satisfaction in the background. Never gonna catch that again... Ahh the irony!

Deal-Rocks but not as good as the 85 version. I went to see "the Dead" in 97 and it poured on us as well but with endevouring to persevre to the end of the show, walked out with a smile.

Hooked up with a dead chick (going commando) during bertha. The rain and energy at the SPAC were what I remember most.

Tony ! I had no idea you were at this show. We drove up from NJ and it was fun but very wet, plus we got way lost before and after trying to find way in and out :)

One of the best times I ever had at a show. Showed up the day before and they let us car camp in the lot. So much fun from beginning to end
