Alabama getaway!
-The Gov

My first show. My cousin Paul convinced me to go. I drove up from DC after work, but forgot to bring a change of clothes, so I was still in my work clothes! Got a few strange looks, but didn't matter...I met him in parking lot where I helped him sell tie-dyes, and immediately put one on. It was the day after the big storm when the bridge to parking lot was washed away. The scene was all new to me...like a foreign country, but everyone was so cool and the music made such a connection...I was hooked for life. Went to lots of shows in the area over the years and always remembered to leave to my suit and tie at home.

Don't ge me wrong, the second set of this show is dank, but there is just something about the first set that makes it monstrous. If only i coulda experienced it live, musta been one helluva ride.
