This show and the previous night were noteworthy in that they were the only shows at MSG that were not sold out, except for a couple in the '94 run which shortly followed two shows at Giants Stadium. Both shows were solid performances. The band intro is the only one I am aware of other than the '75 Great American show; the introducer is promoter John Scher.

Wow, kickin' it off with Playin'. Are you kidding me?? They're really breakin' out the newbies, too, as Touch & Throwin' were also played in the previous night's show...
-billymunster (09/28/2008)

Yeh, Playin->Crazy....unexpected. Set the tone instantly for the rest of the night. High Time was a treat for me.
-rob cal (01/28/2010)

Scher announced the band at their first show at MSG without Brent on 9/14/90.
