Comments:

high paced but reasonably intricate and excellent jam between china and rider - my first show!
-

11 songs in the second set.... awesome! My first show too!
-

Space into Aiko-Aiko blazes between Weir and Garcia - Excellent.

I went to U.VA about 4 years after this show and spent about 3 years wandering around lost, listening to the dead and going to California on a free flight pass whenever I could to see the Dead with my cousin. Sometimes I wish I could've just accepted that I was not a frat boy and that liking the Dead was my thing at the time and that it didn;t mean I was a freak.

This was a great show. Hey, I have a mint condition poster from this show that has GD skelaton on the UVA campus. Very cool and unique. Will sell to deadicated UVA grad.

My good friend Mike and myself drove out from Newport News to this show. This was my third time and it was the one the "set the hook'. I went ever chance I could after this one.

Steve, I went to the show - my 1st dead concert. It was awesome. I was 2nd year at UVA, and had never experienced a concert like this one. Today, I wish I bought the poster. If you, or anyone else has the poster from this event, I'd like to talk....

Great show. Top three for me. IMO out of drums? Bertha to finish the set?? He's Gone for Bobby Sands, I fink. Always love an opening Jack Straw. Love me some Peggy-O too. Saw it with my friend Joey Bonghitter, the king of Zonked. Infiltrating. End
