Comments:

Although this was a short one, it was solid! The chemicals hit full force over the break and the band came out with a rippin' Bertha > Playin which had a great guitar melt by Jerry after the lyrics were all sung. Typical Playin space but with an "82" flair. Very memorable.

a good half-dozen tracks from the otherwise-unavailable soundboard are filler for that 4/4 road trips release - and boy, do they sound beautiful. The highlight is undoubtedly the Playin > Ship of Fools > Jam medley - the last section there is over ten minutes of serious jazz -

Grate Wharf Rat!

some Althea history: Jerry gets back to playing lead on the Althea outro, after letting bob twang all over it for the past few months. Wonderful version taboot.
