Best Chinacat->Rider ever. Anybody got tapes of this show?
-

Agreed that it was the best China-Rider ever. They were trying to destroy the sound system and level the Events Center! Dan had them turned WAY up. Whole band was absolutely thumping. I had a copy once but alas...
-

Bobby is more vocal than ever during this show. He announces the set break during China > Rider... What's up with that?
- (11/19/2009)

Surprising that no one has commented on the fact that this is the last show where Candyman and FOTD appear in the same show.
-Murphy (11/06/2013)

Mike Stromwell I have this show on CD email me if you still want it

thanks for telling us it's coming out as DaP20 bro - since you're the only one here who owns a computer and has internet, please keep us informed in the future because we've got no fucking clue about these things...
- (10/26/2016)

thanks, Ed. just what the internet needed... a little more bitterness. keep your day job.

Hey no problem man! Glad I could help.
-SimpleManStan (10/26/2016)

Wait so who did Dave pick?
-Anonymoushippopotamus (10/26/2016)

China/Rider is excellent. Don't know if it's the best ever but I can't think of a better one right now.

Have they ever closed a set with China/Rider and opened the next set with Scarlet/Fire? I'm too lazy to look for it right now, maybe later. Where's Perin when you need him? I suspect he knows without having to look it up the way I would.

Did Bobby's family run the concessions at this show? Why else would he announce the end of the set before Rider was finished? Funny but weird.

Answering Chucky Bberry - yes they did close first set with China Rider and open second with Scarlet Fire a few months earlier on 7/8/81 in St. Louis. I was there and it was one of my favorite shows
