I'm sure they played in Hartford, not New Haven this date. After crashing in some dorm at Tuft's for Boston and at a friend's house in Utica, we stayed at the penthouse at the Ramada in Hartford. Anyway great show.

i only have the first set of this show on a tape...it's a killer set...really hot playing!

my tape says it was Hartford...not New Haven...it would seem that this needs to be corrected here.

My first show. Ripping Big River one of the last Passengers and a smokin China/Rider. I always liked the end of the 1st set placement for this tune. Miracle/Bertha/Good Lovin and then Sat night. Yee-hah!!!!!!!!!!The boys had me by the balls with this show and would'nt let go until 95. What a ride
-Mack

Get it for Stella. Stelllllllla!

My 1st show as well. I'll never forget it.
My buddy from Franklin Pierce College told me I had to see them live. The rest is history....

This is a keeper. Great first set that gets you ready for an even better 2nd. The Glossberg recording on LMA is one of those "who needs a sbd" recordings.
-Anonymous (10/26/2013)

Sorry, that should be Glassberg. Fantastic recording.
-Anonymous (10/26/2013)

FZ-Stella indeed! Jerry's final solo seems to never end

Peggy-O, Ship Of Fools & Stella Blue only played in same show 4/8 times.

SO "Abe"/Tommy G and i somehow got ourselves to HArtford, from Providence, someone we knew or friend of a friend?

So, Sure we had a great time at the show, but then we had to get back to PC in Mid-MArch and of course not dressed for being outdoors in winter. Well, out went the thumbs along a dark rte 44, many cars passed by 2 20 yr olds, 6'6" Tom resembling dear President Lincoln perhaps costing us a ride or 50....finally someone took mercy on our souls and let 2 very grateful kids hop into, rode us all the way to Providence. Rarely went to church but i may have the next day, we were damn near frozen by time we were picked up, thanked Dear God we got the lift! wtg 9-7-21

Terrific show, Jerome brings it… what’s the little tune he plays on the way into Stella Blue?
-Just Exactly Perfect Band (11/21/2021)

Just Exactly Perfect Band, the song he is playing out of the Other One and into Stella Blue is "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" by Bach.

Mikey Mag - Wow! I wouldn't have known that if you didn't point it out and now I can hear it! The Just Exactly Perfect Band never ceases to amaze!
