Comments:

this show is a beaut!! it is not widely circulated which is a pity since it is truly worth hearing! the audience recording i have captures the excitement of the crowd...they go nuts on every song...a real appreciative group of deadheads! the reaction for the east coast return of china>rider will send chills down your spine and what a beautiful china>rider the boys delivered that nite!!

I used to have this tape. I am looking for a CD copy. One of Best He's Gone I ever Heard.

Really REALLY solid all the way around. Great energy on the audience tape. A wonderful listen - take a gander!

This show was so H O T...in more ways then one. Fantastic set list from start to finish, crowd was on fire due to Spring coming on like a Summer's Day.
Waterfights in the restrooms and I had a handful of counterfiet tix some friends had printed and we just waltzed in.
What a wonderful day that will always stay in my memory...Trippin down from Oswego.

Great day, great show, the heat in the arena was stuck on, over 90 degrees in there , everyone was just a sweatin'
walked home to my house Rob S was playing guitar from Dire wolf, and my housemate was juggling fire.
those were the days!!!

My first show of 100s. It was blazing hot, due to AC failure.

Great show, my first time seeing Brent. Hot, hot, hot - many topless women - always a good thing!
Even odd gas rationing was happening; had to wait till midnight at a station to fill up after the show.

The boys just screw with the whole crowd at the end of wharf rat. pretty funny, and it fooled me.

One of the top five shows I've seen. Does anyone else remember the barrier at the front of the stage collapsing during Me & My Uncle? Security just picked some of us up and threw us on stage just to keep from getting crushed. I wound up behind Bob's monitor.

... thank you Sirius for playing 5/9/1979 Binghamton NY for us yesterday on the Noon show ...

Ditto what tyedyetom said! I’d never heard it. Really good!
-Jay von Lehe (10/17/2020)

Surprised nobody mentioned the Around and Around fake-out. As Wharf Rat ends Jerry plays the Around opening lick but "Well the joint was jumping" does notfollow so he plays it again. Still nothing. He starts it a third time but Bob just busts into Sugar Mag.

-Dr Filth (12/09/2021)

Wow! How odd to see China Rider into a Jerry tune.
-Ernst Randall (05/09/2022)
