The half>step roses here, in my opinion, defines this combo for me. 11/20/78 is also good, but the energy in this version...wow. One of those absolutely perfect Dead moments. Listen to the interplay between Keith and Jerry in the last third of Franklins...the quiet jam...it just sparkles.

also the transition between the two is actually perfect, where it is botched in nearly every other version I have heard.

First Dead show! Great show to get on the bus. Was working with some hippies at a record store and we bought out a section for ourselves. Great venue.
