What I remember about this show primarily are two things: The search on the way in was like nothing I ever saw; people were being told to take off their shoes, and a cop asked me where I was from, and if I knew what would happen if I were caught across state lines with drugs. The theater had a large marquee out front identifying the evening's performance, and during the show, they changed it for the next night. As the crowd was emptying out, passers by could observe the marquee, which read "Tonight Tony Orlando and Dawn". They must have thoght the audience for Dawn to look rather strange.

Amazing considering how chill Boston is now on 4/20. The cops either mellowed out or got bitch whipped by the citizens. Remember everyone, your taxes pay for cops salaries, and you can legally tell them to fuck off and make it home un harmed. So don't take their shit. Fuck em'

I grew up seeing shows in Boston early / mid 70's.....the cops were relentless in their never ending quest to stop people from smoking weed.
