One very interesting show. On the same bill were Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Jerry Jeff Walker, among others. Cowboys and Deadheads mingling together in a raging thunderstorm. Very kewl.

120 degrees on the turf at Arrowhead Stadium...hot show in more ways than one.

How the walls of Arrowhead Stadium didn't come a-tumblin' down during "Around and Around" is a testament to the architect that designed it.

Amazing show. Listening for the first time. Super high energy all the way through. Very, very fun show. As Weir says towards the beginning of the show--"Welcome To The Rock and Roll BBQ".

I remember it was HOT. This was The Willie Nelson Picnic, with the Dead playing in the middle of the day. It didn;t seem lie there were any Deadhead in our section of this massive football stadium.

The music was fine, but the atmosphere was lacking.
