Comments:

the final show in a long tour of spring dates finds the dead in a very mellow mood...they were, no doubt, burned out after many weeks on the road...even so the mellow vibe makes for a really tasty show to listen to when you want some "laid back dead". the half step>franklin's opener is sleepy and slow but very nice to relax to...the looks like rain is one of the better ones i have heard...they really strech it out!

of the 110 shows i've attended, this second set was one of the all time finest. pure uptown theatre magic !
-

THIS WAS BY FAR MY FAVORITE AND MOST PRIZED MEMORY OF ANY DEAD SHOW- THE WEREWOLVES OF LONDON ENCORE! IF YOU CAN SIMPLY IMAGINE JERRY JUST HOWLING HIS LUNGS OUT 'AAAAOOOOOOOO' ABOUT TWENTY TIMES, IT'S A MOMENT IN TIME ETCHED IN MY MIND FOREVER- GOD, IT WAS SPECTACULAR!

Maybe Jim, but this show produced a highly energized 'best of' NFA's. Outstanding pian play from Keith.

I
Mississippi Half-Step
Franklin's Tower
The inception of this perfect show opener Jerry duo!

The only uptown show that I missed
I gave my tix to my sister
When I woke the next morning there was the set list on the toilet
Werewolves of London
Damn
-Kaminski's comet (01/31/2018)

Billy was too tired to play the next day, and thewy cancelled thew 5/18 show. You can kinda hear the low energy this night, especially compared to 5/14. It sounds like '77 on stilts.

Bobby is playing nice slide here, he doesn't go overboard like sometimes later in the year.

Also - very notable "Space" after drums with vocals! I won't spoil it but its a special one.
