Sweet show with a werewolves us blues double encore hot damn. Did I hear staying alive during the later part of the drum jam or was my imagination getting disco with me?

Streaming some of the best on XM 23 Grateful Dead Channel. Includes my favorites like Dire Wolf & Ramble on Rose. They were really in their prime in 1978. Too bad it was before I was born.

How can you NOT listen to Sirius XM23 everyday?
the Live Shows broadcast at 3A, NOON & 9PM East Coast daily. XM23 chooses seven (7) shows & bounces then across those three times.
As for Tomorrow, You will Wake Up & Find AGAIN that the Sky was Yellow & the Sun is BLue.....

Good God what an amazing show. The second set from Playin' through, well, Playin', is just amazing. The jam after drums (not noted on the set list) is really fun. The Stella Blue is an all-timer. The jam at the end is absolutely incredible. I got goosebumps. There is an absolute banger of a jam in the Truckin' outro - after that initial buildup thing, Jerry just rips for a couple minutes. Absolute fire. They slip back into Playin' exquisitely. Oh and by the way, the first set is fantastic. I feel like some jams and solos were stretched longer than usual, and then it culminates with a Music Never Stopped that's right up there with the best of them, including the ripping 2-3-78 version. This show is just absolutely fantastic.
