Comments:

Out of Playin' they go into more like an UJB Reprise, then start at the beginning ... its cool. Playin Reprise is not the encore as indicated on some sources, that comes right out of China Doll ...there was no encore for this show.

This show is absolutely ridiculous. The Sugaree, El paso, Peggy-o, LL Rain is amazing. This is one of the best renditions of Peggy-o I have ever heard. It was my first show I ever owned and its still my favorite.

just grabbed this one from archive.org and i am pissed that after a couple years of collecting dead i never heard this show. the jams are incredible throughout both sets. the most amazing thing is when they go from post-playin' into the UJB reprise THEN go into the beginning of UJB after the reprise.

well boys and girls..if you do not have any Dead and wanted to start by buying some the offical stuff then look no more..This wonderful gem of 2 shows spends a lot of time in my cd player..The whole damn thing is soooooo good...great pace and setlist is also wonderful. best sugaree ever IMHO. this sounds really odd but i really dig the tap,tap from billy just before tenn. jed..gets me everytime..get this and the bus will come by for you as well...:^)

Fuckin' fantastic. Get DP #29, you won't regret it. The energy and flow in the set 2 sequence is mindbending.

-Chris (05/20/2022)

fantastic al the free music provided over the radio over the years, when we taped. Still have them all. Listening to a nice chunk of this i taped in the 1990s. But I do feel sorry for the hard working heirs of Garcia who are not getting income from my early tape collections. I have lost a lot of sleep for those hard working heirs. Nope, have bought three dead CD releases but have 800 freebies. God Bless USA

The UJB outro > UJB intro out of the Playin jam is stunning and gorgeous. Absolutely perfect.
