Just got this show- I really love the eyes from the 73-74 era. Whenever I'm in a bad mood, this is the song. I like the later eras but when I need something mellow-er than the "primal years (66-70/71) then i go with a nice 73 or 74 show. If I want to REALLY fall asleep, I lean towards 73. Sometimes I throw in summer of 76 just to be cute about it. :) But this is a good show- I just got it haven't listened to all of it yet but I love the eyes- wonderful!

-Bookkeeper (07/21/2019)

11/11 gets ALL the love.. but this whole three night stretch filled with standout performances of their classics. The energy really boiled over in November 73 and things mellow out after. This night, 11/9, has the most energy of the era.

I posture that this show has the hottest versions of these tunes to occur in 73: Me & Bobby McGee, TLEO, BTW, China > Rider, Half Step, Greatest Story, Eyes, China Doll and Around & Around.

This version of Eyes is a bit less tight than 11/11 but has a longer and wilder outro jam. Similarly, 11/11 gets all the love for its China > Rider but this night has an equal/superior version.
