one of the best ever

The tone and settings Jerry gets
out of his guitar at this show are
fantastic, esp. in Dark Star >
Mind Left Body. Amazing Jack Straw,
Playin, and China > Rider. A must
hear

complete mind melt..playing is just sick and the DS is mind blowing. Get DP 19 and u will see why.
-Ga-GeadHead

where did the g come from???
-Ga-DeadHead

One of the best ever, "Dark Star-MLB Jam" is worth it's weight in gold alone. Then comes the "Morning Dew-Sugar-Eyes" that will leave you blown away. Not to mention the beautiful "Stella Blue" that completes the mind melt you've just experienced. Get wheat today!!!

One of the better, if not one of the best Dead shows ever. Even without Hart, Kruetzman still lays down the drums as perfect as ever. Jerry's guitar is impecible and Phil's bass is spine tingling. All around great show and I would recomend it to anyone.......Dick's Picks 19
-Cassidy

This is my favorite show of all time. I know it sucks to pay for Dead music but BUY Dicks Picks 19 RIGHT NOW, you will not be disappointed. Easily the best Mississippi Half-step of all time, Jerry's solo before "across the rio-grandio" is soooo perfect. Dark Star>Mind left body>Dew is disgusting. IMHO this second set is better than cornel77, and that is saying a whole lot.

morning dew is mind blowing

This is one of the hottest Playing in the Bands I have ever heard....Jerry has some beautiful, spacey, teasers before Phil drops some heavy bombs and the jam just develops from there. Truly, that show as a whole is one of the best.

I love the ending of looks like rain jerry plays these sweet chromatic scales and bobby belts out the vocal great example of thier chemistry
-Stagger lee (06/28/2009)

What a show! Fall '73... get me the time machine. One of my favorite shows of any year.
-Doug (07/30/2011)

still waiting for that time machine though...
-Just Exactly Perfect Band (12/27/2016)

Gosh I can't imagine why this is a DP

(JUST KIDDING, this would be a favorite even if I didn't live a mile from the arena, the whole show absolutely kills)
-Phil (09/28/2019)

Crackling with energy. Obviously Dark Star > MLB Jam > Dew is legendary, but don't miss the top notch renditions of Don't Ease Me In and Johnny B. Goode.
- (03/04/2020)

Three years since I commented and almost 49 since that night. They're about to replace the old State Fair Arena, but there will never be another moment in time like this show. The Star/MLB/Dew is 40 minutes in a different continuum.
