yes this shows have those silly ass horns but not on every song youre right sometimes the horns should stay in the studio but every now and then they can be a treat and i am sure jerry thought after a while thats why they let go partway through the tour ask Bob wier he knows the answer

Not sure where the horn animus comes from, but the Eyes jamming was a Dark Star in itself while the Sugar Magnolia had a great new twist due to the horns. The boys needed a change to charge their batteries I feel.
