wasn't there but glad to know that the Dead played Jack Straw in their only show they ever played in Whichita.
-jp from CA

Jack Straw-The boys always impress.
Sugar Magnolia-nice uptempo solo's by Jerry at the end.
UJB-solid harmonies.

-

Wishbone Ash was the supporting act.

I tried to get into this show. I was panhandling for admission when a detective that knew me, grabbed me and threw me out. I then tried to sneak in a backway. I could hear music through some doors, got caught (AGAIN) and had to run away. I didn't want to spend the night in jail!

The closet I ever came to seeing The Dead.
