Dark Star! The best of the tour IMHO. The playing throughout this fine show is ferocious and elegant at the same time, a style that is unique to the Dead and is the reason why I love this band so much. Get the '72 box set while you can.

Doug: DS is just one of the many reasons to love this band. I think all fans could come up with a few hundred reasons and all would be valid.

We have to be thankful they had as many years together as they did. For all the joy they gave us for the 30 years they deserve to be among the richest people on the planet.
