this is another sweet show in a series of sweet shows from the legendary europe '72 run!!
the "truckin" opener is a nice surprise and they just keep on cookin' from that point on!! other highlights include a red hot "china>rider" and "playin" in the first set.
amazing "dark star" that melts into a lovely "morning dew".
the encore is a real treat a long and pretty "sing me back home" with some great jerry and donna vocals into a rockin' saturday nite to close out the show!

just took a listen is this show. Another fine gem of a show and one of the many reason i love the Dead. Jerry is on tonight and Phil is complete in the mission to totally pound the fucking bass straight through your soul. moved up in my rankings as a top 5. Jed is just perfect and Pigpens heart and presence is felt in this show. Europe 72 is where it is at my friends. get this show an many others at www.archive.com.. Enjoy :^))

Great show. The Morning Dew is fantastic. As is the Truckin' opener. Europe '72, they had some times!

the first Dark Star > Morning Dew??
-Just Exactly Perfect Band (12/27/2016)

Very very strong Dew - the lyrics pour forth so smoothly from a still young JG. It's a song no one else should or could top when he was at his best. Heck even as his health problems in the '80s he could still pull off a great Dew even if his voice wasn't as silky as it was in 1972.

Just another reason I really miss this band and am thankful we have so many recordings of what heights they could reach.
