The Dead started in San Francisco and this show was the last time Pig ever played in the Bay Area. Though I'm sure a lot of Bay Area freaks followed him.

MY FIRST SHOW. BENEFIT FOR NATIVE AMERICANS. SOME GAL GOT NEKKID AND JUMPED ONSTAGE. A HUGE PART OF THE CROWD PAINTED THEIR FACES WITH BLACKLIGHT PAINT....DANCING SCULLS! NEW RIDERS AND YOGI PHLEGM WERE GOOD TOO.
