Comments:

Funny comments after Saturday Night by Phil then echoed by Jerry "we are going to take a break..yeah, that's right a break" "a really long break" Jerry.

Nothing better than the 71 shows with the NFA>GDTRFB>NFA combo's.

After BIODTL Bobby goes "hey sound crew, can you turn up the monitors..turn em on...can't hear anything"
-Perrinswolf (06/06/2008)

Is that Pig Pen or Merl on organ during Playin' in the Band? The organ style sounds a little different from Pig. Can anyone help?
-Andrew (12/28/2009)

That is Keith playing organ. He played organ on the one song. Pigpen was on hiatus due to health. When Pig came back he played all the organ and Keith only ever played organ occasionally after Pigpen was gone.

First decent show with Keith. The usual monitor and sound problems. Keith is miked way to high in the first set but they fixed it at the set break. The second set rips.

Hardly the first decent show with Keith--they hit the ground running in Minneapolis and the first night in Chicago. Second show in Detroit was good, not great, but Rochester was very solid (as was this one).

Just my opinion, but they clicked right away

I was there. What I remember the most about the show was that Jerry Garcia wanted to keep playing, and had to be carried off stage at the end of the show.

Also, fortunate that he played with the NRPS.

My first show of many!

I'm listening to this show on Sirius right now, there is no Other One after Truckin, nor is it on any of the selections at Internet Archive. Don't be deceived!
