Just got this one. Wow! This is a fine show esp. for Pigpen lovers.
-Doug (05/04/2013)

Does anyone know why Pigpen plays no organ at this point? He's played the organ on St. Stephen before, yet at this point they replace the organ riff in St. Stephen with a guitar, I found this to be disappointing.

This is an incredibly high energy great show. Dave's 6 sound is sublime. Respect

-Bookkeeper (12/24/2018)

Responding late to the question about Pig's organ. He actually does play it a little bit. I think though, that he took the comments about his organ playing pre-TC to heart and it probably caused a lot of insecurity about his musicianship. You'll notice in the post TC Dark Stars that, even if Pig adds some keys he no longer plays that riff.
